HOUSTON POLICE K-9 DETAIL
Originating in 1959, the Houston Police Department’s K-9 Unit is one of the oldest Patrol Divisions in the department. Currently, nineteen teams in the K-9 unit are assigned to various sections of the police department.
SPONSOR-A-K9 PROGRAM
To ensure the K-9 Unit can operate at its current capacity, we seek financial support from corporations, organizations, and individuals to offset the unit’s operating costs. Accordingly, we are requesting that you consider sponsoring an HPD K-9.
DONATE TO PURCHASE A CANINE
