Bill Nelson is a partner at Haynes and Boone, LLP. Mr. Nelson's practice focuses on corporate securities law, including public offerings and private financings, acquisitions, mergers, monetization transactions, securities law compliance and corporate governance. He is a co-founder of and currently serves as treasurer of the Houston Police Foundation.

Mr. Nelson is a member of the Houston Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas. Mr. Nelson received his B.S. with honors from the University of Texas in 1992 and his J.D. from the University of Texas in 1997. In addition, Mr. Nelson received his M.A. from Brown University in 1994.
